For gym owners

Members who are ready to switch. Pay only when they join.

People come to I Hate My Gym because they are done with their current gym. We match them to yours, they book a visit, and you only pay when one of them actually signs up. Every member who joins gets $50 back from us — so they come to you ready to sign, and they send us the proof.

How it works

  1. 1
    Claim your location

Sign up free, find your gym by name, and confirm your profile: style, amenities, hours, price, vibe.

  2. 2
    Post a switch offer

Something like “first month free, no enrollment fee.” It is what turns a curious visitor into a member.

  3. 3
    Get leads

When someone nearby takes the quiz and matches with you, they book a visit. You see everything they told us — including why they are leaving their current gym.

  4. 4
    Confirm the visit

Confirm it on your dashboard so they get reminders. Mark whether they showed up.

  5. 5
    They join, they prove it

After signing up with you, the member sends us proof of membership to claim their $50 switch rebate. We verify it — no surveys to chase.

  6. 6
    Pay per verified join

$100 flat per verified join: $50 goes to your new member, $50 to us. Nothing for leads, visits, or no-shows.

No setup fee, no monthly fee, no charge for leads that do not convert. A join is charged when it is verified: the member sends us proof of membership, or you mark them joined. We pay the member their rebate only after your payment clears.

  • • One-time $100 prepayment when your first lead arrives — or when you add your card, if people have already matched with your gym. It is credit, not an extra fee: it pays for your first verified join.
  • • Existing members who take the quiz are never billed.
  • • Think a join is wrong? A person reviews it.
